Rain Harvesting Systems

Rain Harvesting is the latest innovation to conserve and protect our most valuable resource, fresh water.

Don't send good water down the drain, then pay to use water for your outdoor needs. Harvest your rainwater for use for:

Decorative water feature  hundreds to choose from

Pondless waterfall -Classic waterfall -Water vase

Turf  irrigation - plant  bed and tree watering

Topping off a swiming pool or spa or existing water feature

Washing a car, boat - spraying a patio or deck

Have you ever notice how  much greener grass is after a rain compaired to city water?

Thats because rainwater has no chlorine, floride, or other chemicals. Rain water also has some nitrates which the plants love, but municipal water companies must remove it before they can sell it back to you.

In May of 2010 Outdoor Environments became the first Certified RainXchange Professional in Central Iowa

So Go Green and  have Outdoor Environments install a rain harvesting system .

1 inch of rainfall on a 2,000 sq. ft. residential roof generates 1,250 gallons of water that can be reused.

That same roof in a region receiving 30 inches of annual rainfall generates 41,000 gallons of reusable water.

The average US household with a 10,000 square foot lot uses 5,000 gallons of water weekly for landscape irrigation.

Running a sprinkler for 2 hours can use up to 500 gallons of water.

Traditional ways of rainwater harvesting do not add beauty or value to your home or office setting
